Venezia coach Paolo Zanetti is suspended for the upcoming Serie A clash against Lazio.
As highlighted by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, the 39-year-old Italian coach was given a red card during the 4-1 loss to Sassuolo yesterday after protesting too much at a number of decisions.

Due to this red card, Zanetti will be forced to watch Venezia’s upcoming league match against Lazio from the sidelines. The Biancocelesti won the first meeting between these two teams this season, picking up a 3-1 victory at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo in Venice.

Zanetti has overseen 75 Venezia matches so far since taking on the role in August 2020. He guided the team back to Serie A last campaign and now he’s fighting to avoid suffering relegation. This campaign, Zanetti’s side have averaged 0.81 points per match from 27 games.
