Lazio will not make a decision regarding Francesco Acerbi’s future until the end of the season amid interest from Milan.

The 34-year-old Italian centre back made his first start in two months in the 3-0 win over Cagliari on the weekend, putting in a strong performance and receiving compliments from coach Maurizio Sarri in the dressing room. His relationship with the fans is still incredibly fractured though and his future remains in doubt.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Lazio haven’t made a final decision yet regarding Acerbi and it’s likely that they’ll postpone this until the end of the season. The 34-year-old Italian centre back, who is contracted to the Roman club until 2025, has made 26 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2177 minutes. In that time, he’s scored three goals, provided two assists and helped the side keep seven clean sheets.
