Lazio are facing an emergency in their full back department ahead of the upcoming match against Venezia.

The Biancocelesti have a number of injuries in the role, forcing coach Maurizio Sarri to get a little creative in order to line-up a strong defence in Monday’s clash against the newly promoted side. A win for the Roman club is key if they want to stay involved in the race for European qualification.

As highlighted by LazioNews24, Adam Marusic is disqualified for the match against Venezia and Stefan Radu is also in doubt after struggling with an inflamed heel, which forced him to train individually yesterday.

Sarri will have to come up with something and the most likely solution seems to be deploying Patric in the full back role, with Elseid Hysaj playing on the other side of the Lazio defence.

Manuel Lazzari has been injured since 12th February and he’s set to return to squad training today, although it’s impossible to imagine him playing a full 90 minutes on Monday.
