The 25-year-old Italian midfielder is a core part of Jose Mourinho’s squad in Rome and his absence would be frustrating for the Portuguese coach.
Pellegrini has made 28 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2187 minutes. In that time, he’s scored 10 goals and provided five assists. Being a Giallorossi youth product and local boy, the derby means a little more to him than some of his teammates.
