Luiz Felipe has decided not to renew his contract with Lazio after reaching an agreement with Real Betis.
The 25-year-old Brazilian centre back’s contract expires with the Biancocelesti at the end of this season and the club have been hoping to tie him down to a new deal for some time now, believing him to be a core part of Maurizio Sarri’s squad in the Italian capital.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Luiz Felipe will not renew his contract with Lazio as he prepares to join Real Betis on a free transfer at the end of this season. He has already communicated his intentions to the club’s management.
The Brazilian defender has spent his entire professional career contracted to the Biancocelesti, joining the club in 2016 aged 19. He has made 140 appearances in total for the Roman club, being a core part of the side that won a Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana.
