As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Carnesecchi is now Lazio’s top choice to replace Thomas Strakosha and Pepe Reina in the upcoming summer transfer window. The club believe he’d be a strong fit for Maurizio Sarri’s tactical system in the Italian capital.

Sarri’s dream option is Chelsea shot stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga, but the Spaniard is too expensive and so the Italian coach has given the green light for a move for the 21-year-old Italian.

In order to convince Atalanta, Lazio are ready to pay around €10 million for Carnesecchi, a sign of his quality and their belief in his potential.
