Maurizio Sarri is a big fan of Vitinha and he’s hoping Lazio pick up the Porto midfielder in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Biancocelesti need a new playmaker or regista in the midfield as Lucas Leiva will leave the club on a free transfer at the end of June. Danilo Cataldi is a valued member of the squad under Sarri, but the Roman side also want someone with a little more creative flair.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Sarri was very impressed with Vitinha during Lazio’s two Europa League matches against Porto earlier this season.

The 22-year-old Portuguese midfielder is represented by super agent Jorge Mendes and has a market value of €25 million, a figure that would make a deal complicated for the Biancocelesti, who endlessly have issues with the liquidity index.
Should Sergej Milinkovic-Savic be sold in the summer however, Vitinha could become a serious possibility.
