Lazio have added Wout Faes to their list of possible defensive options ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Biancocelesti are preparing to overhaul their defence at the end of this season, when both Patric and Luiz Felipe are set to leave the club on free transfers. Alessio Romagnoli is undoubtedly the hottest name so far, but they are lining up a number of alternatives as well.
The former KV Oostende man is physically strong and stands at 187cm tall, making him an imposing aerial threat. He can play as either a right or left back as well as in the centre, making him an incredibly flexible option.
Faes has made 28 Ligue 1 appearances so far this season, for a total of 2520 minutes. In that time, he’s scored four goals and helped the side keep nine clean sheets.
