Juventus are continuing to push for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but they’d have to beat out Manchester United to secure his signature.
The 27-year-old Serbian is flying under Maurizio Sarri this season, proving himself as one of the top midfielders in European football. The Biancocelesti are preparing to overhaul their squad in the summer and so they’re willing to sell Milinkovic-Savic in order to fund their spending spree.
Man United and PSG reignite interest in £70m Serie A midfielder
As reported by Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via LazioNews24), Juventus are keen to pick up Milinkovic-Savic in the summer but there’s two obstacles in their way; Lazio president Claudio Lotito’s high valuation and Manchester United’s serious interest.
Lazio lower their asking price for long-term Juventus target
The Lazio midfielder has an estimated market value of around €70m and it’s unlikely that Lotito would give any discounts on a possible deal, because he’s a shrewd negotiator and the funds generated will be immediately reinvested.
Milinkovic-Savic has scored eight goals and provided nine assists in 29 Serie A appearances this season.
