Juventus and Lazio are both keeping a close eye on Igor, who’ll enter into contract talks with Fiorentina soon.
The Biancocelesti are preparing to overhaul their defence in the upcoming summer transfer window, when Luiz Felipe is set to depart. Francesco Acerbi and Patric could also be on the way out, forcing the Roman club to pick up a few reinforcements for the department.
As reported by Firenzeviola.it, Igor will open contract renewal talks with Fiorentina in May, where it’ll be decided if a new contract will be agreed or not. Juventus and Lazio are both following the situation closely, ready to take advantage of a non-agreement.
The 24-year-old Brazilian centre back is having a good season under Vincenzo Italiano in Florence this season, helping the side keep six clean sheets in 21 Serie A appearances this season.
Igor has an estimated market value of €8 million and would likely be a good addition to Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio side.
