Lazio, Arsenal & Atalanta All Closely Following Dinamo Zagreb’s Sutalo

Lazio have started following Dinamo Zagreb centre back Josip Sutalo in their search for new defenders.

The Biancocelesti need to overhaul their defence in the upcoming summer transfer window as multiple players are likely to depart, such as Luiz Felipe and Francesco Acerbi. Maurizio Sarri wants to rejuvenate the squad with younger talents who are more suitable to his style.

Sutalo is a tactically flexible centre back who can play in both a three and four-man defence. In the latter, he occupies the centre-right slot and is known for both his strong physique and quick burst of speed.

The 21-year-old Croatian defender is valued at around €7 million but he is a regular of the first team and so his price could rise before the end of this season. Atalanta and Arsenal are also reportedly keen on him, although it’s currently unclear how serious their interest is.
