Lazio’s management board will meet today to discuss their financial report ahead of president Claudio Lotito’s meeting with Maurizio Sarri.
The Biancocelesti president is keen to tie the 63-year-old Italian coach down to a longer deal, removing a clause that allows him to be freed should a foreign club come calling. He wants to kickstart a new cycle in Rome and so doesn’t want to lose Sarri at the end of next season.
