Lazio Talent Raul Moro Robbed by Two Men Posing as Police Officers

Raul Moro and his father were robbed last night by two men posing as police officers in Rome.

The 19-year-old Spanish winger was promoted to the Biancocelesti first team by coach Maurizio Sarri last summer after impressing at the pre-season training camp. He has made 11 Serie A appearances so far, impressing and clearly proving that he has significant potential.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Moro and his father were stopped by two men posing as police officers on the GRA, a major ring road surrounding Rome, where they proceeded to assault and mug the pair.

The Lazio teenager was struck multiple times and suffered swollen eyes, a fractured nose and a significant amount of anxiety as a result of the incident. The pair took some money as well as a luxury watch, before fleeing in a car.

Moro was taken to the Casilino Hospital and given a 20-day prognosis. He’ll be given any support needed by Lazio following the incident.
