Manchester United Prepare Offer for Milinkovic-Savic but Lazio Push for More

Manchester United have prepared a significant offer for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but Lazio are pushing for more.

The Biancocelesti are ready to sell the 27-year-old Serbian midfielder in the upcoming summer transfer window in order to fund their squad overhaul, as coach Maurizio Sarri wants six to eight new signings in order to strengthen his team as they fight for Champions League qualification.

President Claudio Lotito understands that this will likely be the last chance to sell Milinkovic-Savic for a significant fee, considering that his current contract expires in 2024, and so he’s pushing for €80 million instead.

A deal could therefore be reached in the region of €70 million, as Lazio do need a lot of cash to finance their transfer market plans and so cannot afford to remain too rigid regarding the price.
