Manchester United have prepared a significant offer for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but Lazio are pushing for more.

The Biancocelesti are ready to sell the 27-year-old Serbian midfielder in the upcoming summer transfer window in order to fund their squad overhaul, as coach Maurizio Sarri wants six to eight new signings in order to strengthen his team as they fight for Champions League qualification.

Lazio’s Deal With Milan Captain Romagnoli at Risk of Collapsing

As reported by Italian newspaper La Repubblica (via LazioNews24), Manchester United are serious about signing Milinkovic-Savic and they’ve prepared a €60 million offer to try and convince Lazio to give up on the Serbian star.

President Claudio Lotito understands that this will likely be the last chance to sell Milinkovic-Savic for a significant fee, considering that his current contract expires in 2024, and so he’s pushing for €80 million instead.

A deal could therefore be reached in the region of €70 million, as Lazio do need a lot of cash to finance their transfer market plans and so cannot afford to remain too rigid regarding the price.
