PSG & Manchester United Ready to Pounce For Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are refusing to give up in their race to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, with a transfer away from Lazio seeming increasingly likely.

The 27-year-old Serbian midfielder shined in the Biancocelesti’s 2-1 win over Sassuolo yesterday, being the best man on the pitch at the Stadio Olimpico scoring the second goal to secure the three points for the Roman club.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Milinkovic-Savic is desperate to play in the Champions League and a duel is on the horizon between Manchester United and PSG, with both clubs incredibly keen to secure his signature.

For now, the Serbian midfielder is refusing to be distracted by transfer market talk and he wants to fight until the end for 4th in the league table, but failure to achieve this makes a departure from Lazio in the summer fairly likely.

Milinkovic-Savic has scored nine goals and provided nine assists in 30 Serie A appearances this season, being a star in Maurizio Sarri’s squad.

  1. So he will be going to PSG if Lazio miss out because this United side won’t be making the top four this season. They will be lucky to make fifth.
