The situation is a little confusing and there’s a chance that it could be COVID. On Monday evening, his wife Patricia posted a photo of their children on the sofa on Instagram, which was accompanied by the caption: “We have been infected by the virus.”
His daughter then posted an Instagram story the following morning which read: “It’s not COVID, it’s just bronchitis.”
The situation is a little hazy and Toma Basic is preparing to fill in for the Spaniard, whose availability for this weekend’s match is now heavily in doubt.
