As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Luis Alberto has a fever and didn’t train yesterday afternoon, remaining at home. If he doesn’t return to Formello either today or tomorrow, he’s unlikely to feature for Lazio against Genoa on the weekend.

The situation is a little confusing and there’s a chance that it could be COVID. On Monday evening, his wife Patricia posted a photo of their children on the sofa on Instagram, which was accompanied by the caption: “We have been infected by the virus.”
His daughter then posted an Instagram story the following morning which read: “It’s not COVID, it’s just bronchitis.”
The situation is a little hazy and Toma Basic is preparing to fill in for the Spaniard, whose availability for this weekend’s match is now heavily in doubt.
