Everton’s Allan was one of the key players brought up during Maurizio Sarri’s meeting with Lazio president Claudio Lotito yesterday.
The Biancocelesti coach met with Lotito for dinner at Formello, where they discussed the upcoming summer transfer window and the project in Rome. Sarri made it clear that he wants to be involved in transfer decisions and during this meeting he highlighted his appreciation of Allan.

As reported by La Lazio Siamo Noi, Lazio are willing to make a move for Allan but the situation is a little hazy. Rumours suggest that the midfielder has asked Everton to release him on a free transfer but they could still ask for €15-20m for the 31-year-old.

If this is the case, Allan could only be signed should a top midfielder leave in the summer, with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic seeming to be the most likely candidate.
Another issue is the former Napoli man’s salary; Allan currently earns around €4 million net per season with the Toffees, something that Lazio simply cannot match. He would need to drop these requests should he want to make the move to Rome.
