Inter and coach Simone Inzaghi dream of signing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the summer but it’s incredibly unlikely to happen.
The 27-year-old Serbian midfielder is likely to be sold in the summer in order to fund the Biancocelesti’s squad overhaul, with a number of top clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United keen to pick him up at the end of this season.
As reported by La Lazio Siamo Noi, Inter are huge fans of Milinkovic-Savic and they’d love to sign him in the summer, but they cannot afford to match Lazio’s requests.
Positive Atmosphere Following Sarri’s Decisive Meeting With Lazio President Lotito
President Claudio Lotito is looking to sell the Serb for around €70-80 million, refusing to let him go for less. The Nerazzurri cannot afford this and they had hoped to include Maurizio Sarri favourite Andrea Pinamonti in a possible deal, but Lotito is not interested in anything but cash.
Inter and also rivals Juventus have made enquiries with Milinkovic-Savic’s agent but for now nothing more, and it’s incredibly unlikely that we’ll see the Serbian midfielder wearing black and blue next season.
