Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are ready to make a super offer for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The 27-year-old Serbian midfielder is expected to be sold by the Biancocelesti in the summer in order to fund their squad overhaul, with coach Maurizio Sarri wanting around six to seven new reinforcements to arrive.
As reported by La Repubblica (via LazioNews24), PSG and Manchester United are desperately fighting to secure Milinkovic-Savic’s signature and both are ready to offer Lazio close to €70 million for the Serbian star.
Inter and Juventus are also both keen to pick up Milinkovic-Savic, but their offers are too low and contain too many instalments for Claudio Lotito to be convinced; recently, it has been reported that Milinkovic-Savic’s agent, Mateja Kezman, has been having conversations with interested parties.
Updates are expected over the coming weeks as the sale of Milinkovic-Savic would give the Roman club significant breathing room ahead of the summer, allowing them to better plan their targets in order to provide Sarri with the most suitable reinforcements.
So far this season, the midfielder has contributed 9 goals and 10 assists in 41 fixtures across all competitions. Concerning Serie A, he is currently tied with his performances from the 2020/21 campaign, by which he tallied his best goal contributions in a single campaign since joining Lazio (18).
Milinkovic-Savic has also made 30 appearances for the Serbia national team, scoring five goals and providing six assists.
