Thomas Strakosha’s departure is no longer a clear-cut fact and he could still renew his contract with Lazio.
The 27-year-old Albanian shot stopper’s contract expires with the Biancocelesti at the end of this season and a renewal hasn’t seemed close for a while now, with the player reportedly ready for a change after losing his starting spot in Rome. Since December, however, he has been the number one again.
The Biancocelesti are still debating whether to place their trust in the long-term servant or not, although they do appreciate his loyalty and progression over the last 10 years.
This loyalty could prove to be the difference-maker when the decision regarding Strakosha’s future is confirmed after the end of the season in May.
