Lazio are preparing to revitalise their midfield in the summer as Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Lucas Leiva are both set to depart.
The 27-year-old Serbian midfielder is expected to be sold for a significant fee in the upcoming transfer window in order to fund the Biancocelesti’s squad overhaul, meaning a skilled replacement is needed. Leiva is also set to depart after his contract expires in June.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), many midfielders have been linked with a possible move to Lazio ahead of the summer transfer window, starting with Leander Dendoncker, whose contract with Wolves expires in 2023, and Boubacar Kamara, who’ll leave Olympique Marseille on a free transfer.
Other ideas include Vitinha, who is impressing this season with Porto, and Maxime Lopez, who is also wanted by rivals Roma. Finally there’s Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, a favourite of Sarri’s, and Palmeiras talent Danilo, who is also being followed by Arsenal.
