Fenerbahce & Galatasaray Ready to Duel for Lazio Outcast Muriqi

Vedat Muriqi is shining whilst on loan at RCD Mallorca, attracting the attention of both Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.

The 27-year-old Kosovan forward joined the Spanish side on a six-month loan deal with a €12 million buy option attached in January, having failed to convince Maurizio Sarri in the first half of this season. He’s made an immediate impact in La Liga, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Mallorca are not set to sign Muriqi in the summer, regardless of whether they avoid relegation or not, and so he’ll return to Lazio at the end of the season.

The likeliest outcome is that the Kosovan forward will make a return to Turkey, where he previously found success. Both Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are keen to sign the Lazio outcast in the summer and a deal could be fairly accessible as the Roman club look to offload him.
