Romagnoli Only a Step Away From Joining Lazio as Total Agreement Edges Closer

Alessio Romagnoli is on the verge of signing for Lazio as the two parties look to close a small gap between supply and demand.

The Biancocelesti have been in talks with the 27-year-old Italian defender and his entourage for months now and a meeting carried out earlier this week was incredibly positive, with the two parties almost reaching a full agreement. Only a few small details remain now until things can be finalised.

As reported by La Repubblica (via LazioNews24), Lazio need to make another small effort if they want to secure Romagnoli’s signature as there’s still a gap between the Milan captain’s requests and the club’s offer; around €500,000, including add-ons and the fixed salary.

Romagnoli is incredibly keen to sign for Lazio in the summer as he’s been a fan of the club since he was a child, a decisive fact that’s helped negotiations. An agreement must also be reached regarding agent commissions.
