Lazio are looking to sign Ola Solbakken, who was a key figure in Bodo/Glimt’s European run this season.

The 23-year-old Norwegian winger exploded onto the scene after netting a brace against Roma in a Europa Conference League clash back in October. He followed that up with another goal against the Giallorossi in Rome a few weeks later, confirming his quality and giving Lazio fans a reason to smile.

As reported by Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Lazio have taken significant steps forward in an effort to sign Solbakken this summer. His contract expires with Bodo/Glimt in December of this calendar year and so he could leave in a low-cost deal in the summer.

Lazio have been following Solbakken for months, appreciating his goals against Roma and believing in his suitability for Maurizio Sarri’s system.

The 23-year-old Solbakken has made 18 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1519 minutes. In that time, he’s scored eight goals and provided five assists.
