Lazio have proven to be the most dangerous side in the final third of a match and Ciro Immobile leads the line.
The Biancocelesti are preparing to take on Scudetto hopefuls Milan tomorrow at the Stadio Olimpico, an important game in the Roman club’s race for European qualification. Lazio lost both meetings with the Rossoneri this season, 2-0 in the league and 4-0 in the Coppa Italia.
As highlighted by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio have scored 25 goals in the last 30 minutes of a match this season, the most out of any team in Serie A.
The man driving this statistic is obviously Immobile, who has scored seven of these 25 goals, with the most recent being in the 1-1 draw with Torino.
This could prove important against Milan, who have conceded four of their last six goals in the final half an hour of a game, giving Maurizio Sarri’s side an extra motivation should they fall behind early.
