Napoli Hope Exchange Deal Convinces Lazio to Part With Luis Alberto

Napoli have set their sights on Luis Alberto and they’re interested in offering Lazio an exchange deal involving Andrea Petagna.

The Biancocelesti are preparing to overhaul their squad in the upcoming summer transfer window and one of the big players who could depart is the 29-year-old Spaniard, who has had an up-and-down season under Maurizio Sarri this campaign. He has scored four goals and provided eight assists in 30 Serie A appearances this season.

As detailed by La Repubblica (via LazioNews24), Napoli are interested in picking up Luis Alberto in the summer and they’re hoping that offering Petagna to Lazio in exchange will prove convincing.

The Biancocelesti need to sign a new backup striker in the summer and so the idea of picking up the Italian forward may prove convincing.

The 26-year-old Petagna has scored three goals in 22 Serie A appearances this season under Luciano Spalletti, making only three starts in the league.
