Lazio Player Ratings for Tough 2-1 Loss vs Milan

It’s hardly a surprise to say that Ciro Immobile and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic were the best Lazio players in their 2-1 loss with Milan.

The Biancocelesti came into the match against the Rossoneri desperate for a win following a wobbly 1-1 draw with Ivan Juric’s Torino last weekend. Maurizio Sarri highlighted in a press conference ahead of the game that the goal was still to achieve European qualification, meaning every point counts now.

Immobile guided Lazio to an early lead following a lovely cross by Milinkovic-Savic but the Biancocelesti couldn’t hold onto their advantage; Olivier Giroud netted the equaliser early into the second half and Sandro Tonali found the winner in the dying minutes of the match, breaking Roman hearts.

Below are the Lazio squad’s player ratings for their 2-1 loss to Milan:

  • 5: Luis Alberto, Felipe Anderson, Toma Basic, Adam Marusic, Elseid Hysaj, Luiz Felipe;
  • 5.5: Stefan Radu, Francesco Acerbi, Patric, Manuel Lazzari, Lucas Leiva, Mattia Zaccagni;
  • 6: Thomas Strakosha, Danilo Cataldi;
  • 6.5: Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Ciro Immobile.
