Manchester United have made a huge offer for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, hoping to beat Paris Saint-Germain to the punch.
The Red Devils are incredibly keen to sign the 27-year-old Serbian midfielder in the upcoming summer transfer window, believing him to be the perfect man to strengthen their incredibly poor midfield. It won’t be easy for them to secure his signature, however, as PSG are also incredibly keen.
As detailed by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Manchester United have submitted an offer worth close to €80 million for Milinkovic-Savic. His agent Mateja Kezman has already presented this to Lazio president Claudio Lotito.
Lotito is now staying patient, hoping to see a larger offer arrive from PSG; a few months ago, they were willing to pay €65 million, so the hope is that they’ll at least match the offer made by Manchester United.
Updates are expected over the coming weeks, with Milinkovic-Savic’s departure in the summer almost certain now.
