Sergio Rico is still one of Lazio’s summer transfer targets and his agent met with sporting director Igli Tare recently.
The 28-year-old Spanish goalkeeper is one of the Biancocelesti’s top options to replace Thomas Strakosha, who seems set to depart at the end of this season once his contract expires. Sergio Rico is currently on loan at RCD Mallorca and will almost certainly be leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
As reported by Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Rico is managed by the agency You First Sports, who also represent Lazio star Luis Alberto. One of their representatives visited Rome a few days ago and met with Tare at the Spanish midfielder’s house party.
The Spanish goalkeeper could join the Biancocelesti on either a loan deal or a permanent move, depending on whether PSG set a price tag higher or lower than €10 million. His contract expires with the French giants in 2024.
