Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is having an incredibly prolific season with Lazio, hitting double figures in both goals and assists.
The 27-year-old Serbian midfielder was on the score sheet again for the Biancocelesti in yesterday’s nail biting 4-3 comeback win over Spezia, netting the third goal. It was his 10th goal of the season, a sign of his quality under Maurizio Sarri this season.
As highlighted by DAZN (via LazioNews24), Milinkovic-Savic has now joined Christopher Nkunku and Dimitri Payet in an exclusive club; the three are the only midfielders in Europe’s top five leagues to have hit double in both goals and assists this season.
The 27-year-old Milinkovic-Savic, who is contracted to Lazio until 2024, seems destined for a move to a big club this summer. The Roman club are finally ready to cash in on him and a number of top sides are already preparing for battle, with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Juventus all keen for his signature.
