PSG & Man United Hold Advantage Over Juventus for Milinkovic-Savic

Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United appear are in a better position than Juventus in the race to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer.

The 27-year-old Serbian midfielder is destined for a high profile transfer in the coming months as Lazio finally look to cash in on him. The Roman club’s plan is to then reinvest these funds back into the team in order to provide Maurizio Sarri with a more competitive squad.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio are ready to sell Milinkovic-Savic this summer but they’d significantly prefer selling him to a foreign club, such as the interested PSG or Manchester United.

President Claudio Lotito does not want to sell him to Juventus as it would clearly strengthen one of the team’s rivals in the fight for Champions League qualification.

The Biancocelesti are hoping to secure around €70m for Milinkovic-Savic and they’re not keen to accept any players in exchange, limiting the Bianconeri’s chances of pulling off a deal.
