Lazio are reportedly close to ironing out a deal for Real Madrid owned defender Victor Chust.
The Biancocelesti are preparing to rebuild their defence this summer as both Luiz Felipe and Francesco Acerbi are set to depart, requiring a couple of new centre backs to arrive. Alessio Romagnoli will likely be one, and now the other may have been chosen as well.
As reported by La Repubblica and La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio have recently set their sights on Victor Chust and he’s already given his approval for a move to the Roman club. He will return to Real Madrid next month following the conclusion of his loan spell with Cadiz.
Victor Chust is reportedly a pure central defender who is skilled with the ball at his feet. The 22-year-old Spaniard initially came to prominence with Valencia’s youth system before joining the Real Madrid set-up in 2012.
