The time has come for Lazio to make a decision with their young talents Luka Romero and Raul Moro, and the club have a plan.
Both teenagers were promoted to Maurizio Sarri’s first team in Rome last summer, being given the chance to train regularly with the first team and take part in some Serie A matches. Neither managed to break into the first team often but the experience was clearly important for both.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio have made up their mind regarding the future of the pair; Sarri is a big fan of Luka Romero and he’s keen to give him more chances next season, so he’ll likely stay with the first team.
Things are a little different for Moro, who struggled to maintain his momentum as the season progressed. Now it seems likely that he’ll be sent out on loan in the summer, although he could remain part of the first team if things go well at the pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore.
