Lazio Offer Star Striker Immobile a Future Role in Management

Lazio have offered Ciro Immobile a future role in the backroom staff once his playing career comes to an end.

The 32-year-old Italian striker had another wonderful season in Rome this campaign, netting 27 goals in 31 Serie A appearances, earning him his fourth Capocannoniere title. Immobile is the talisman of the Lazio squad and with his contract expiring in 2026, he’s set to stay with the club until the end of his playing career.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Lazio president Claudio Lotito offered Immobile a future role in management, keen to keep him as part of the club once his playing career draws to a close.

The 32-year-old Italian has already expressed his plan to remain with Lazio now, so it would be a fitting end for him to stay with the club in a management capacity, similar to what Paolo Maldini has done with Milan.

  1. He would be a valuable addition. I hate he gets blamed for the the lack of goals on the National team. But he has always given his all. I only wish Napoli would have signed him. Even traded over rated Insigne for him.
