Lazio have been keeping a close eye on Celta Vigo’s Javi Galan for a while and now they’ll have to deal with competition from Fiorentina and Barcelona.
The 27-year-old Spanish left back had a great season with the Spanish side following his €4m move from SD Huesca last summer. He provided three assists in 37 La Liga appearances and attracted attention due to his incredibly strong dribbling play, making 7.48 progressive carries per 90 minutes on average.
As reported by Marca (via LazioNews24), Javi Galan seems destined for a move to a bigger club this summer, with Lazio, Fiorentina and Barcelona all keen to pick him up. Celta Vigo valued their left back at around €10 million, an accessible price for the interested trio.
The Biancocelesti may hold an incredibly slight edge as the 27-year-old is represented by You First Sports, the same agency that represents Biancocelesti star Luis Alberto, although this is unlikely to make much of a difference.
