Galatasaray are interesting in making an offer for Vedat Muriqi, who impressed during his six months on loan with RCD Mallorca.
The 28-year-old Kosovan forward joined the Spanish outfit on loan in the January transfer window and things went well for him.
Muriqi netted five goals and provided three assists in 15 La Liga appearances, helping Mallorca avoid suffering relegation. This good form has translated to his work with Kosovo, with the player netting a brace against Northern Ireland last week.
As reported by Turkish outlet Aspor (via TuttoMercatoWeb), Galatasaray are ready to pay around €16 million for Muriqi, desperate to secure his signature this summer. This is significantly higher than the €12m buy option attached to his loan move to Mallorca, a price the Spaniards aren’t able to pay.
This fee is close to the €20 million invested by Lazio in September 2020, although it still remains to be seen if Muriqi is willing join Galatasaray, considering his previous allegiance to Fenerbahce.
