Marcos Antonio arrived at Rome’s Fiumicino airport this morning ahead of his transfer to Lazio.
The 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder started his intercontinental journey last night, travelling from Brazil at 7:30pm last night to complete his move to the Biancocelesti. He arrived at Fiumicino airport shortly after 7am this morning and was immediately greeted journalists and a small group of fans.
Marcos Antonio, seen wearing a Lazio scarf, will now head to Formello for some rest ahead of the usual pre-transfer medical tests. It’s unclear if these will be carried out today or tomorrow at the Paideia clinic in Rome, but regardless the Brazilian midfielder will be the Biancocelesti’s first signing.
SportItalia filmed the arrival of Marcos Antonio this morning, showing him arriving at Fiumicino airport with all his baggage and a smile hidden under his mask.
