Napoli are looking for a new centre back and they’ve recently opened talks with Hellas Verona for Nicolo Casale.
The 24-year-old Italian centre back impressed in the season just gone with the Gialloblu and almost made the move to Lazio in January, before eventually being promised a move away this summer. The Roman club are now in talks with Verona but things have stalled in recent weeks.
As reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, Napoli are in talks with Fenerbahce for Kim Min-Jae and now they’ve opened talks with Verona for Casale as well, making sure to have a number of options lined up.
The Gialloblu value the 24-year-old at around €10 million plus add-ons, something that the Partenopei are trying to lower. Monza are also keen on a move for Casale and they’ve submitted an initial offer.
Maurizio Sarri is desperate add Casale to his squad ahead of the pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore and he’s growing increasingly frustrated with the club’s slow work.
