Sevilla are seriously interested in signing Luis Alberto this summer, leaving Lazio to decide whether or not to cash in on the Spaniard.
The 29-year-old midfielder had a season full of ups and downs under Maurizio Sarri in the campaign just gone, bouncing between incredible displays and invisible performances. It’s no secret that he wants to return to Spain one day and it’s a topic that comes up seemingly every year.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), talks between Lazio and Sevilla regarding Luis Alberto are still in the early stages, and there’s no confirmation that the reported €16 million offer was actually submitted or not.
The Biancocelesti value the 29-year-old Spaniard at around €25 million and it’s hard to imagine them accepting any less as they look to fund Sarri’s squad overhaul.
Despite being contracted to the club until 2025, Luis Alberto’s wishes could make the difference and he could finally push to return to the Iberian peninsula.
