Wladimiro Falcone has been added to Lazio’s list of alternatives to Atalanta prospect Marco Carnesecchi, their number one target this summer.
The Biancocelesti have been in talks with Atalanta for a little while now, trying to iron out a deal for the 21-year-old Italian shot stopper, who impressed last season on loan with Cremonese. La Dea want €18 million for Carnesecchi and Lazio’s highest offer so far is €12 million plus €3 million in add-ons.
As reported by Tuttosport (via LazioNews24), Lazio are preparing a list of alternatives in case they fail to reach a deal with Atalanta for Carnesecchi. The Roman club have been keeping an eye on Sampdoria’s Emil Audero for a while and now they’ve started considering his teammate Wladimiro Falcone as well.
The 27-year-old Italian shot stopper is valued at around €5 million and is contracted to Sampdoria until 2025.
Falcone made 10 Serie A appearances last season, for a total of 854 minutes. In that time, he conceded 14 goals and kept three clean sheets.
