Reports from Spain suggest that Lazio are still interested in making a move for Celta Vigo midfielder Denis Suarez.
The 28-year-old midfielder is pushing to leave Spanish club this summer, keen for a fresh challenge, despite the fact that his contract expires in 2024. Denis Suarez scored four goals and provided six assists in 38 La Liga appearances this season for Celta Vigo.
As reported by Mundo Deportivo (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), a number of clubs are keen to pick up Suarez this summer including Lazio, Espanyol, Real Betis and Villarreal. The 28-year-old has an estimated market value of around €10 million but Celta Vigo haven’t set a price yet.
Lazio are preparing for the possible departure of Luis Alberto or Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, so they’re keeping tabs on a number of playmakers in order not to be caught out. The former seems more likely to leave than the latter at this stage, with Sevilla and Valencia keen.
