Sevilla are continuing their hunt for Luis Alberto and they’ve offered Lazio cash plus Oliver Torres for the midfielder.
The Biancocelesti are open to selling the 29-year-old Spaniard this summer as they look to fund their squad overhaul. It seems as if Sergej Milinkovic-Savic won’t be sold after all, so Luis Alberto has become the player most likely to depart.
As reported by Il Tempo (via LazioNews24), Sevilla are insistent on bringing back Luis Alberto to Spain and their initial €16 million offer was rejected, forcing them to come back with something more convincing.
The Spanish side have now offered Lazio €13 million plus Oliver Torres, who is valued at around €14 million. Maurizio Sarri is a big fan of the player and has already given his approval to the deal, so things could move fairly quickly now.
Lazio need to bring in two new goalkeepers fast, with both Thomas Strakosha and Pepe Reina leaving the club yesterday, so this could help Sevilla pull off a deal fast.
