Lazio are working to finalise the deals for Nicolo Casale and Guglielmo Vicario ahead of next week’s pre-season training camp.
The Biancocelesti will head off to start their pre-season work next week in Auronzo di Cadore and coach Maurizio Sarri was expecting to have his reinforcements ready in time. Things have been a little slow, however, and so far the only confirmed arrivals are Marcos Antonio and Matteo Cancellieri.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Lazio are deep in negotiations with Empoli for Vicario and with Hellas Verona for Casale, and they’re confident that both deals can be fully completed between today and tomorrow.
Lazio have already agreed personal terms with Vicario and they’ve now raised their offer from €12 million to €13 million in order to close out a deal with the Tuscan side.
It’s a similar situation for Casale, who has already agreed to join the Biancocelesti. The Roman club are hoping to pay around €8 million plus €2 million in add-ons for the Italian defender.
