Nesta famously used the number 13 shirt during his nine year period with the Roman club, making the number iconic as he lifted the Scudetto, two Coppa Italia and multiple other honours with his beloved team. Romagnoli has previously spoken of his admiration of the Lazio legend.

Romagnoli is a much anticipated arrival in Rome and hundreds of fans turned up yesterday to the Paideia clinic to give him a warm welcome.
The Italian centre back has never hidden his support of Lazio and now his dream move has finally been completed. He famously didn’t celebrate after scoring the winning penalty for Milan in a shoot-out against the Biancocelesti in the Coppa Italia a few years ago.
