Sporting director Igli Tare has decided to stay with Lazio despite the recent approach from Parma.
The Serie B side recently emerged to express their interest in working with the Albanian sporting director, whose contract expires with the Biancocelesti next year. Tare was reportedly unhappy after the Primavera responsibilities were handed over to new director Angelo Mariano Fabiani.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Tare has told Claudio Lotito that he wants to stay with Lazio despite Parma’s interest. Now it remains seen if the Biancocelesti president will offer him a new contract or let him leave when his deal expires next year.
Many fans are unhappy with Tare’s work on the transfer market, pointing to his various expensive flops recently like Vedat Muriqi for over €20 million and Denis Vavro for over €10 million.
The summer transfer window is moving ahead fairly well, however, with a number of new arrivals like Alessio Romagnoli, Luis Maximiano, Mario Gila, Nicolo Casale, Matteo Cancellieri and Marcos Antonio.
