Lazio Concerned About Frustrating Romagnoli Injury

Alessio Romagnoli is still dealing with a nagging groin injury and Lazio are growing a little concerned.

The 27-year-old Italian centre back hardly featured in the second half of last season due to the injury, which kept him sidelined for 10 consecutive games as the Rossoneri secured their first Scudetto in a decade.

As reported by Il Tempo (via LazioNews24), Lazio will now have to keep a close eye on Romagnoli as they monitor his groin muscle injury. He did not take part in the friendly against Dekani yesterday, although he did feature in the training session.

The Roman club will make sure Romagnoli doesn’t aggravate his injury ahead of the upcoming season, which’ll kick off on 14th August against Bologna.

The Italian centre back is keen to kick off live with the Biancocelesti and the fans are excited to see him in action, so all parties are hoping this issue is soon resolved.
