Lazio Secure Comfortable 3-1 Pre-Season Friendly Win Over Triestina

Lazio won their third pre-season friendly in Auronzo di Cadore yesterday, picking up a 3-1 win over Triestina.

The Biancocelesti continued their pre-season preparations in the idyllic training camp with another strong showing in a friendly, giving Maurizio Sarri something to think about as the Serie A season starts to approach.

LazioNews24 highlights how Ciro Immobile gave Lazio the lead against Triestina the first half with a penalty, which was followed up by goals from Toma Basic and Marco Bertini. Triestina scored a consolation goal thanks to a free kick from Guido Gomez.

Sarri is still working hard on integrating the new signings and trying to get them onboard with the tactical system in Rome. Matteo Cancellieri and Alessio Romagnoli are both impressing and so far the work carried out in the transfer market is seemingly paying off.

Lazio’s Serie A season will kick off next month, when they face Bologna at home on 14th August.
