RCD Mallorca have returned to Lazio with a new offer for Vedat Muriqi and things could be tied up soon.
The Biancocelesti are desperate to re-home the Kosovan forward this summer after he completely failed to convince coach Maurizio Sarri of his qualities. Muriqi was on the verge of a move to Club Brugge before things ultimately collapsed after his medicals.
As reported by TMW, Mallorca have returned to Lazio with a roughly €10 million total offer for Muriqi and the two clubs are now discussing potential add-ons. The Spanish side are incredibly keen to secure the Kosovan’s signature and both clubs are confident a deal can be reached soon.
This fee would allow Lazio to avoid making a capital loss on Muriqi, but regardless the player will always remain an example of sporting director Igli Tare’s confusing work on the transfer market.
Muriqi has made 49 appearances across all competitions since joining Lazio in September 2020. In that time, he’s scored two goals and provided two assists.
