Sevilla are ready to make another move for Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto as they work on selling Jules Koundé to Chelsea.

The 29-year-old Spaniard reportedly handed in a transfer request to the Biancocelesti recently, keen for a breath of fresh air after six years in the Italian capital. Sevilla previously made an offer of €15 million plus Oliver Torres this summer for Luis Alberto, but Lazio turned down the idea.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), Sevilla are finalising a €50m sale of Koundé to Chelsea, and once this is completed they are set to make another attempt to sign Luis Alberto.

Lazio value him at around €30m but initial indications suggest that around €25m could be enough to close out a deal, with the Biancocelesti willing to say goodbye to the Spaniard.

Updates are expected in the coming weeks, with the future of Luis Alberto always seemingly a mystery that contains more twists and turns that a late M. Night Shyamalan film.
