Stefano Antonelli, the agent of Udinese talent Destiny Udogie, confirmed the interest of multiple clubs from both Italy and abroad.
The 19-year-old Italian left back was one of the stars of the show in the Friulian squad last season, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 35 Serie A appearances. Udogie’s strong season quickly saw a number of clubs set their sights on him including Lazio, who clearly need a new left back.
Speaking to New Sound Level 90FM (via LazioNews24), Antonelli discussed the interest in Udogie and confirmed that both Lazio and Roma are in the running.
Udogie is interested in all of the clubs, not just those in Serie A. This is a bit of a minefield, I have to zero in on this question.
It’s normal that such a player is liked by so many teams, Lazio, Roma, all of them. However, there is not only Serie A clubs.
The 19-year-old Udogie is contracted to Udinese until 2026 and would certainly not come cheap, with an estimated price tag of around €20 million.
Lazio’s current left back options are Elseid Hysaj, Adam Marusic and the adapted Stefan Radu, so the club need to pick up a reinforcement before the season kicks off in a few weeks.
